The D James Builders team are always striving to improve. We actively encourage our senior staff to further their education through higher qualifications, and our junior builders are all working through their apprenticeships with the BCITO – New Zealand’s most recognised on-site construction industry training organisation.
Danny started D James Builders in July 2007. He developed the company from a one-man-band taking care of residential maintenance contracts, into a full service project management and residential construction business. He completed his entire carpentry apprenticeship with Jason Williams at Waitoki Builders through BCITO, and has completed the New Zealand Certificate in Construction Trades – Supervisor qualification in 2016.
Sam joined the D James Builders team halfway through his apprenticeship in 2015. Since joining he has completed his trade certificate in carpentry with BCITO. In 2017 Sam entered the Master Builders Apprentice of the Year competition and took second place for the northern region.
Brandon joined the team in 2016 and is currently working through his apprenticeship with BCITO.
